Lisa and Maretha were married on the beautiful, unique green banks of the Klipriver in Henley-on-Klip. The intimate ceremony included only family and close friends, and was held at a family member of Maretha’s.

Those invited enjoyed a special reception with a picnic-like feel to it, with guests sitting on blankets in the shade of an ancient tree. The wedding-goers could later treat themselves to soft serve ice cream from an VW old ice cream truck, as well as gourmet burgers also served from a mobile truck.

The balmy weather made for a perfect day, and to suit it were boat rides, offered on the river.

I have known Lisa for some time – having had the privilege of working with her in the media industry.

It’s always intimidating to do a shoot for another super talented photographer, and I feel tremendously honoured for being able to capture one of the most treasured days in her life.

Thank you very much for making me a part of your wonderful day.
